Sam C. is the co-owner of Crockett Watch Company, a premier destination for handcrafted, bespoke timepieces, alongside his son, Sam H. With a deep passion for horology, Sam is dedicated to helping clients create their dream watches, providing a personalized concierge experience to guide each client through the journey of selecting a truly unique and meticulously crafted timepiece.
Outside of his work in the watchmaking world, Sam is an avid fly fisherman, cook, and gardener, always finding time to connect with nature and the outdoors. His love for travel, particularly throughout Europe, enriches his life with new experiences and an ever-deepening appreciation for craftsmanship and history. A self-proclaimed history buff, Sam enjoys delving into the stories of the past, and he takes pride in being an active member of his local community, contributing to its growth and well-being.
Sam’s personal favorite timepiece is the Panerai 1314, a symbol of his refined taste and deep appreciation for both design and function. Above all, Sam is passionate about the Crockett relationship process, valuing the connections he builds with clients as much as the watches he helps them create. Sam H. is a sophomore at Indiana University's Kelley School of Business, where he’s following in his father’s footsteps by studying global supply chain management. As co-owner of Crockett Watch Company, Sam brings a fresh, dynamic perspective to the business, blending his academic background with a deep passion for horology and business strategy.
Sam’s interest in watches began with a personal project—a modified bronze Seiko Captain Willard Turtle, a timepiece that sparked his love for watchmaking and design. Today, this custom piece is available at Crockett Watch Company, where it represents Sam's hands-on approach to craftsmanship and his ability to create unique, personalized watches. His favorite watch remains the Seiko Captain Willard Turtle, a reminder of where his horological journey began.
When he’s not studying or building watches, Sam enjoys staying active, whether it's playing basketball, weightlifting, or diving into business strategy. He loves keeping up with the latest watch trends and design innovations, often bringing fresh ideas back to Crockett Watch Company to incorporate into new collections. Currently, Sam is working on custom collegiate watch lines for SEC and Big Ten schools, combining his love for watches with his enthusiasm for collegiate sports and school spirit.
